Who We Are
CPAM works to preserve the rights and dignity of children and protect them from different forms abuse and exploitation. What We Do
Children’s rights play an important role in The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Though the goals focus on sustainable development, they are linked to human rights generally, and the rights of children specifically. Children are affected by all of the SDGs, whether poverty (Goal 1), hunger (Goal 2), health (Goal 3), education (Goal 4), gender equality (Goal 5), climate change (Goal 13), or violence against children (Goal 16.2)
Hence the Rights of Children:
• The Right to a Childhood
• The Right to be Educated
• The right to be heard
• The Right to good Feeding and Nutrition
• The Right to be Healthy
Our Major work therefore includes:
Promoting and Advocating for the Rights of Children in our Communities

Child protection is our top priority. We take a clear stand for the protection and rights of children, adolescents, and young adults.
Our Image
We see the human being as a holistic, self-reliant being endowed with talents in the context of his personal experiences and living conditions as well as his social environment. Man is oriented towards growth and development and possesses his own abilities and skills for change. He depends on social relationships and strives for recognition, love, and community. We recognize the uniqueness of each person and treat him with respect for his personality and life situation. We perceive him and take him seriously and respect his wishes and will.
We accept the challenges that arise from the situation of our target groups.
We achieve this by
- Taking into account social developments and trends, including contemporary pedagogical, economic, psychological, sociological, and legal findings
- In justified cases, creating necessary offers even in the case of initially deficit financing if the overall economic situation of the association permits this
- Offer and take advantage of opportunities for further training and reflection.
- Endure and deal with conflicts for the benefit of our target groups, partners, and employees
- Regularly reviewing our positions through Research, Training questioning, and debate
Based on our tried-and-tested concepts and incorporating current expertise, we develop needs-based and contemporary offerings. Our diversity creates synergy effects, bundles expertise, and enables a broad spectrum of assistance offers. The quality of our work is characterized by high standards.
We achieve this by
– taking into account internal and, if necessary, external consulting as well as pedagogical, socio-political, and economic evaluation when starting, further developing, or terminating offers
– promoting internal cooperation and facilitating the internal and external exchange
– define standards, review them regularly, operationalize them
– if necessary, reject or terminate offers that make pedagogical sense, if the framework conditions are not sufficient or cannot be established in order to be able to carry out offers in the required quality.
